We are excited to present our Impact Report for 2024. This report is a testament to our unwavering dedication to driving sustainable and equitable change across the globe. Through collaborations with non-profit organizations, we provided solar panels to less fortunate communities, offering reliable energy solutions and career opportunities to drive growth in the renewable energy sector. We also fostered STEM education for students and our youth, inspiring the next generation with knowledge about solar energy. As we reflect on a successful year, we take pride in the significant global impact we achieved with our partners. We love to see our team use their Empower Hours to give back to their communities! Ruud Elders, one of our dedicated Enstallers, spent his volunteer hours supporting Stichting Zwembad Heeten, a local pool that provides a fun, sustainable space for everyone to enjoy in the summer. Each year, Ruud and his team organize the WinterFood action, cooking up classic Dutch winter dishes like snert and stamppot to raise funds for the pool. Thanks to the generosity of their community, they delivered delicious meals to donors last weekend, helping keep the pool clean and affordable for all. Access to reliable energy is critical for education, especially in times of crisis. That’s why we're supporting the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation in equipping schools with solar power solutions that ensure learning continues, even during outages. Bobryk Gymnasium and Nemishaieve Lyceum No. 2, two schools impacted by war, are now part of the “100 Solar Schools” project. With new hybrid solar power stations, these schools have access to clean, reliable energy, providing up to four hours of backup power during blackouts. This not only supports uninterrupted education but also helps reduce CO2 emissions by a combined 848 tons over 25 years and saves thousands of euros annually in electricity costs, allowing schools to invest in other critical needs. Beyond energy resilience, students at both schools are also benefiting from an educational course on sustainability and green energy, helping to instill eco-friendly habits for the future. Enstaller Nils Bakker recently used his Empower Hours to volunteer with VGW (Association for Disabled Winter Sports), supporting youth with disabilities on a ski trip in Vigo di Fassa, Italy. Enstall employees make sustainability a part of their daily lives, both at work and at home. Sarah Chivers, Supply Operations Program Manager, embraces eco-friendly habits by choosing sustainable cleaning and personal care products, shopping secondhand, and teaching her daughters to reuse bathwater for their garden. "For me, the greatest satisfaction comes from knowing that I'm minimizing my impact on the planet and instilling in my children the importance of considering the consequences of our actions on the world," Sarah says. "Simple changes, like switching from plastic bottles of body wash to bar soap wrapped in paper, make a big difference." We’re grateful for Enstallers like Sarah who lead by example. Every sustainable choice, big or small, brings us one step closer to a healthier planet.

By introducing young minds to STEM education and the power of solar energy, we’re opening doors to new possibilities. Our partnership with Mad Science brings this to life through Shining with Solar workshops, where students get hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of how solar energy works. "Thanks to Enstall Empowers’ financial contribution, we will be able to inspire and engage 1,350 children in science and technology. Mad Science is delighted to have a partner like Enstall who shares our goal of inspiring and engaging children in science and technology." Beyond financial support, we’re proud to contribute materials and solar knowledge, including Esdec - an Enstall brand solar mounting materials, to bring solar education to life. Through her Empower Hours, Gittan Heijkoop is making a meaningful impact by supporting the Breastcare Foundation, which funds Europe’s only specialized breast cancer hospital worldwide. Gittan helped initiate a new strategic initiative: developing an interactive app to educate users on early symptom detection through gamification, active checkups, and social engagement. Presented on the recent charity gala BCF, where she created this ‘Embreambassador Initiative” One in seven individuals is affected by breast cancer, men and women, including some of Gittan's relatives. Early detection is crucial, and this app—created in collaboration with the Breastcare Foundation and Enstall’s app builder—is a step toward empowering individuals to take proactive measures. The project is currently being pitched to health insurers for funding, with plans to launch in summer 2025. Solar Energy International (SEI) has been a foundation for emerging and experienced solar professionals for decades, equipping them with the knowledge and hands-on training necessary to lead in the solar industry.
