Voor het eerst organiseren we de Top 250 in Rotterdam, in samenwerking met Gemeente Rotterdam. Robert Simons, Wethouder Haven, Economie, Horeca en Bestuur & Loco-burgemeester, opent het evenement. Hierna geeft Prof. Dr. Justin Jansen ons kort inzage in de belangrijkste cijfers van het onderzoek, gevolgd door een interview met Jop Wolff(oprichter & CEO van Workrate) en Simone van Erp (mede-eigenaar en CPO van Team Rockstars IT). De aanwezige C-levels nemen deel aan rondetafelgesprekken over groeistrategieën, en er is een keynote speech van impactondernemer Jan van Hövell (oprichter van KLABU) gericht op dit jaar’s thema: Combining Growth and Impact. Tijdens de Award Ceremony maken we de winnaars van de Young Scaler, Impact Scaler, Woman-led Scaler en Golden Scaler awards bekend. De Woman-led Scaler Award wordt uitgereikt door de winnares van vorig jaar, Sonja Meijerink. NX Filtration, de Impact Scaler van vorig jaar, maakt de winnaar van dit jaar bekend, gevolgd door een toelichting op hun maatschappelijke impact. De Golden Scaler van 2024 wordt ook uitgereikt door Sonja Meijerink van Valcon, die tevens de Woman-led Scaler Award won. The opening speech by Rotterdam Vice Mayor of Port Robert Simons will be followed by research insights presentation by Prof. Dr. Justin Jansen, who will be later joined by Jop Wolff (Founder & CEO of Workrate) and Simone van Erp (Co-owner and CPO of Team Rockstars IT) for an interview. Attendees will also engage in expert-led discussions on scaling strategies. In the keynote address, impact entrepreneur Jan van Hövell (Founder of KLABU) will focus on this year’s theme: Combining Growth and Impact. [ENGLISH BELOW] Benieuwd wat er nodig is om projecten zoals #Top250NL te realiseren en het onderzoek met het hele ecosysteem te delen? Dit zou niet mogelijk zijn zonder de steun van de belangrijke spelers in het lokale ondernemers-ecosysteem, zoals Up!Rotterdam. Tijdens de presentatie van de Top 250 2024 tijdens het Upstream Festival zagen we een grote diversiteit aan snelgroeiende bedrijven die hun oncdernemerservaring deelden – van scale-ups die al meerdere jaren in de Top 250 staan tot jonge startups die hun verhaal pitchten. We spraken met Lars Crama, Private Lead van Up!Rotterdam en het Upstream Festival, die vertelde over hoe bedrijven in verschillende groeifases elkaar kunnen inspireren en rolmodellen kunnen zijn voor het ecosysteem. Wij zijn trots op onze samenwerking  met Up!Rotterdam, een levendige community van  60+ partners die meer dan 1.700 startup-ondernemers ondersteunt bij het opschalen van hun bedrijven. Hun ondernemersgeest en communitygerichte aanpak zijn belangrijke redenen waarom Rotterdam een prominente plaats inneemt op de ondernemerskaart van Nederland. Presenting the Top 250 2024 during Upstream Festival we saw a great diversity of companies sharing their journeys – from scaleups that have been in the Top 250 for several consecutive years, to young startups pitching their story. We spoke with Lars Crama, Private Lead of Up!Rotterdam and Upstream Festival, who shared his insights on how companies at different stages of growth can inspire one another and become role models for the ecosystem. Onze co-founder en senior fellow Prof. Dr. Justin Jansen benadrukt de rol van de Top 250 bedrijven in het stimuleren van economische en maatschappelijke groei.  Voorafgaand aan het jaarlijkse Top 250 event kijken we opnieuw naar het Insights Report 2024 om je meer te vertellen over deze unieke groep:  🟢 De Top 250 zijn de snelst groeiende Nederlandse bedrijven, bekend om hun rol in het creëren van banen en hun innovatieve en impactvolle businessmodellen.    🟢 De Top 250 zijn geselecteerd op basis van absolute en relatieve groei in FTE's van 2020 tot 2023. Het cohort van 2024 heeft 47.000 banen gecreëerd, 22% meer dan in 2023.    🟢 Voor het eerst bevat de Top 250 NGO’s, samen met zeven B Corps, wat aantoont dat positieve maatschappelijke impact en snelle groei hand in hand kunnen gaan.    🟢 De Top 250 stimuleert kennisoverdracht, met bedrijven variërend van de jongste, opgericht in 2020, tot de oudste, opgericht in 1737.    🟢 De Top 250 stimuleert positieve maatschappelijke verandering, waarbij bijna de helft van de bedrijven in 2024 betrokken is bij duurzaamheid.
