⚡ A new EVBox Troniq High Power fast-charging park in Denmark ! 🚗🔋   Great news for electric mobility! OK a.m.b.a. has inaugurated a brand-new fast-charging park in Lindved, near Vejle, equipped with 6 Troniq High power chargers of 400kW with combined 12 outlets. A new chapter begins for EVBox’s DC business !    We are delighted to officially announce that La Financière de Pessac (LAFIP) has successfully finalized the acquisition of EVBox Bordeaux, the company which operates the EVBox DC business, previously owned by Engie as parent company. This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for all involved in the fast and superfast charging industry.   Under the leadership of Eric Stempin - the founder of EVBox Bordeaux in 2007 - this transition ensures the continuity of all EVBox DC-related activities — including development, manufacturing, delivery, and customer support — while maintaining the trusted EVBox brand that our customers and partners know and value.   What does this mean for you as customers and partners ? ✔️ The EVBox DC portfolio, including market-leading products such as EVBox Troniq Modular and EVBox Troniq High Power, will remain available in all existing markets except North America. ✔️ All installed EVBox DC chargers aftersales support will continue seamlessly by EVBox Bordeaux, ensuring reliability and excellence in service. ✔️ Our commitment to delivering innovative, reliable, and high-quality DC charging solutions is stronger than ever.   We sincerely thank you customers and partners for your trust and support throughout this process. A new owner for EVBox's DC solutions starting in 2025 🚀 We are excited to announce an important milestone for EVBox and the future of our DC solutions. Late November 2024, ENGIE, the current parent company of EVBox, signed an agreement with La Financiere de Pessac (LAFIP) to transfer ownership of EVBox’s DC business. This deal, expected to be finalized mid-January 2025, ensures the continuity of the DC business:  the EVBox brand remains, while all activities related to the development, manufacturing, delivery, and support of DC solutions will continue seamlessly with LAFIP’s leadership. This marks a return to the roots for  Eric Stempin, the founder of EVTronic, a company that was acquired by EVBox in 2018, specialized in DC superfast charging solutions. Under Eric’s leadership, LAFIP will now take over EVBox's DC operations, continuing the strong legacy of expertise in this field. What does this mean for our customers? ✔️ The EVBox DC portfolio, including superfast charging stations like EVBox Troniq Modular and EVBox Troniq High Power, will continue to be available in all existing markets outside North America. ✔️ The aftersales operations that are essential to providing customers with the most reliable recharging business will continue and be further developed. ✔️ Our commitment to delivering reliable and high-quality DC charging solutions remains stronger than ever.
