Marcy Bauer, Senior Vice President of Deployment at EVgo has spent 15 years in the clean energy industry. After serving in the military and working in public and environmental health, Bauer found a natural fit in clean energy, where she could contribute to building a more carbon-neutral future. For Bauer, clean energy is about more than reducing pollution — it's about strengthening communities against environmental disruptions. "Whether human caused or naturally driven, we will always be faced with changes in our environment that we need to mitigate or adapt to," she says. "Clean energy helps reduce negative impacts and prepares us to overcome challenges." One of her proudest moments is seeing an EV charging station installed by her team in her own neighborhood. Connecting with drivers using the chargers helps her bring real-world feedback back to the industry. Bauer believes that investing in clean energy jobs isn't just about innovation — it's a patriotic and humanitarian pursuit that protects both national security and the planet. "Even if it may not feel like it every minute of every day, we really are all in this together," she says. "No one person can get it done alone." Located in amenity-rich areas, each station features 350kW fast chargers, allowing drivers to quickly charge and get back on the road. In addition to the infrastructure partnership, EVgo and Toyota also extended their charging program for drivers who buy or lease the 2025 Toyota bZ4X. 2024 was a milestone year for EVgo, with total charging throughput reaching 277 GWh—an increase of 116% over 2023—and revenue reaching $257M, a 60% year-over-year increase.
