The decision to opt for our 100% non-infill pitch followed a visit to the Pure PT pitch at PSV Campus De Herdgang. The football club is very satisfied with their new pitch, describing it as comparable to high-quality natural grass. The pitch’s characteristics offer players an optimal playing experience while minimising strain on muscles. Goalkeepers have also shared positive feedback, highlighting that the relatively soft and smooth surface ensures a comfortable experience when diving. For the city’s football clubs, SV Germania Bachem and SG Bachem/Walporzheim, this 100% non-infill pitch is expected to encourage more children to join and enjoy the sport. Its design mimics the quality of natural grass, without the challenges of wear and mud, making it the perfect solution for the region. At the opening ceremony, Michael Ebling, Minister of the Interior and Sport of Rhineland-Palatinate, praised the outstanding quality of the pitch. Nadine Wenigman, Head of Sports for the city, shared her pride in providing local players with the same innovative pitch as PSV Eindhoven’s training field.
