On October 30, our team at Heerema Fabrication Group Vlissingen carried out the first roll-up on the 5300 tons Munin jacket for Aker BP ASA, which is scheduled for installation in summer 2025. The operation was completed safely and entirely according to plan. In the coming months, three more roll-ups will be completed at our yard. "It is great to reach this stage where we are starting to see the physical result of the engineering delivered by Aker Solutions and the fabrication work done by Heerema. The Munin jacket is progressing with quality according to schedule. The work has been delivered safely, and we have an excellent collaboration with Heerema in Vlissingen. Congratulate to everyone involved in meeting this important milestone,” says Munin Project Manager Håkon Helgå. Bij Heerema Vlissingen vond de ceremonie van de ‘first steel cutting’ plaats voor de jackets van wat binnenkort het grootste offshore windpark ter wereld zal zijn. Hornsea 3, Ørsted’s nieuwste mega-project, wordt gebouwd 160 km uit de kust van Yorkshire en zal naar verwachting in 2027 operationeel zijn. Vorige week hadden wij bijzonder bezoek! Burgemeester Dijksterhuis van de gemeente Borsele heeft maandag 12 augustus een dagdeel meegelopen bij Heerema Vlissingen. In plaats van een regulier bedrijfsbezoek, was dit een echte meeloopdag op de werkvloer. Door middel van een presentatie en een rondleiding heeft Burgemeester Dijksterhuis een beter beeld gekregen wat Heerema Fabrication doet en waar wij voor staan. It was not a regular company visit but a real visit to the work floor. Through a presentation and a tour, Mayor Dijksterhuis got a better idea of what Heerema does and what we stand for. Afgelopen maandag 15 juli zijn de laatste twee Valhall secties weggevaren naar de werf van Aker Solutions in Verdal. In totaal zijn er acht jacket secties uitgerust met stubs, anodes en kleinere onderdelen. Onze klant is zeer tevreden over de algehele uitvoering van het project, het vakmanschap dat is getoond en de planningsversnelling die HFG heeft gerealiseerd.   Wij willen graag iedereen bedanken die heeft bijgedragen aan dit succesvolle project! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------   Last Monday July 15, the last two Valhall leg sections sailed away to Aker Solutions yard in Verdal. In total eight jacket leg sections have been outfitted with stubs, anodes and smaller outfitting items.
