During this three-day event, we had the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, investors, and developers, driving forward the conversation on offshore renewables and energy transition solutions. 🎤 At the conference sessions, our experts shared key insights into the future of floating offshore wind and solar energy, contributing to the dialogue on innovation and sustainability. 🚀 A highlight of the event was our workshop, where we welcomed distinguished guests to explore the prospects, challenges, and opportunities for floating wind power in Italy. During the panel, we proudly presented #STAR1, our proprietary floating wind technology featuring a DNV-certified design. 🚀 First modules completed and on their way for Perdaman’s urea plant! We’ve completed the fabrication of the first modules for the Project Ceres. The batch has been successfully loaded out and shipped from L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Limited’s Kattupalli modular fabrication facility in India to its destination in Western Australia. This milestone is part of the Saipem & Clough JV (SCJV) contract for Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers' Chemicals and Fertilizers state-of-the-art urea plant. Once completed, this facility will be the largest urea plant in Australia (2.3 MMTPA) and among the largest in the world. We have signed a collaboration agreement with Divento Energia, a partnership between Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP, through the “flagship” fund Copenhagen Infrastructure V), GreenIT, a joint venture between Plenitude (a Company controlled by Eni) and CDP Equity (CDP Group), 7 Seas Wind Power and NiceTechnology, involving the application of #STAR1, Saipem's proprietary technology for floating wind, in favour of the 7 Seas Med projects in Sicily and Ichnusa Wind Power in Sardinia. #STAR1 is a technology developed for the making of semi-submersible floating wind foundations, born from Saipem’s decades of experience in the design, construction and installation of subsea infrastructures. DNV has concluded that the STAR1 design is at an advanced stage of technical maturity.
