🎉 This week we celebrated the start of an exciting new project for The Good Hotel Group: the innovative floating hotel Flotilla. 🚢 The Flotilla will be a fully integrated, modular floating hotel designed to operate entirely on green energy, setting new standards in eco-friendly construction. She will consist of a 108.25m x 18.00m barge (base) and a 99.00m x 15.00m x 15.00m topside, housing 243 rooms. This project is a strong example of our versatility and complements our ongoing work in green construction, including our experience with electric and hydrogen-powered vessels. We’re excited to share our latest achievement: the conversion of an inland vessel into a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger 🚢. This dredger, named 'Taruma', showcases our comprehensive capabilities in both engineering and execution. Starting with a standard inland vessel, we engineered and installed advanced dredging equipment, such as a complete drag arm system, jet monitors, and a complete jet pump and dredge pump system ⚙️.   But our work didn't stop there. The complete conversion of the vessel included significant structural modifications, demonstrating our ability to deliver complex maritime projects from start to finish. We ensured that the TSHD Taruma met all operational requirements and exceeded expectations during its trials. The result is a 1,300 m³ hopper dredger, capable of pumping 2,500 m³/h (mixed) with a dredging depth ranging from 8 to 17 meters. With versatile discharging options, including a shore connection, rainbow nozzle and bottom doors, the Taruma is ready to tackle the most demanding dredging tasks 🌊. This project highlights our commitment to providing innovative and reliable solutions for the dredging industry.
