The Norwegian segment of the Nordic chapter of IACDE is excited to be a part of the society, and eagerly anticipates welcoming new members while acquainting our existing community in Norway with the organisation on Monday, May 13th. We will gather for a private tour of the Oslo Opera House starting at 17:00 followed by drinks and snacks at Svanen in Oslo Centre. Here we can relax, chat and discuss the membership benefits of our organisation. The Danish part of the Nordic chapter IACDE is thrilled of being a part of the society and will welcome new members as well as introducing the organisation to our existing community in Denmark on Thursday the 2nd of May. We will meet for a drink and a bite at Format Café at 15.00 at the Danish Design Museum in Bredgade, where there will be a talk, presentation and sharing of the benefits of being a member of IACDE. The event will continue after the talks to an evening at the museum to explore the exhibitions courtesy of IACDE Nordic. It was an amazing experience for me to attend the #IACDE3DSUMMIT 2024 BACK TO THE 90's Final Event last Friday. Before this event, we could attend various workshops reflecting on the work with different 3d clothing programs and the use of AI in improving 3d images. It was nice to meet 3d enthusiasts and pattern makers from all over the world at the final event. For the final event asset, it was possible to send works from several fashionable styles from the 90's. I chose the topic Tracksuit, because the company I work for, #AudimasSupply, mainly develops and manufactures sportswear, so this topic is close to me. The asset I developed with the Clo3d program, using.DXF file of patterns given in resources, in the final rendering I made the avatar more like a person with #Discopixel. Browzwear Breakout Room (hosted by Afsha Iragorri and Dita Penzova) The 7th IACE 3D Fashion Summit seamlessly merged nostalgia with cutting-edge technology, featuring remarkable entries from new and seasoned Browzwear users alike. Hosted by Afsha Iragorri and Dita Penzová, representing Browzwear; the event celebrated 90s fashion icons like #JohnGalliano #GwenStefani #HelmutLang and #VivienneWestwood, inspiring designers to infuse their creations with both tradition and innovation. Notable prize winners included 1st place 🥇 Gail Meyer and 2nd place 🥈 ASTRID HANENKAMP, whose mastery of AI tools and rendering techniques impressed this years judges. Gail Meyer's winning entries showcased her meticulous workflow, utilizing AI tools like VMake.ai and NewArc.ai alongside Tronog, visual solutions / design solutions's Ecoshot and Browzwear Schematic rendering. Astrid Hanenkamp impressed attendees and judges with her diverse collection, leveraging Browzwear and Daz 3D avatars with Stable Diffusion for stunning visuals across various aesthetics covering all the themes. Despite being new to 3D design, Dainora Smelstoriūtė's minimalist approach stood out for its attention to detail and realism. Elise George drew inspiration from Gwen Stefani, incorporating fur, jewelry and makeup details with Browzwear's "Cloud Library" and "Mid-Journey" for custom print patterns used on fur details. Melanie Carrico's zero waste Tracksuit exemplified sustainability, utilizing Blender visualization for eco-conscious design. Angela Holms' collaboration-based project showcased her mastery of Browzwear and VStitcher, while Shalyn webber's looks drew from Vivienne Westwood's grunge style and the 90's movie "Clueless" iconic styles, enhanced by Tronog and Browzwear's VStitcher VRay render. Hans Olsson (He/Him) focused on tailoring techniques, leveraging Browzwear for precise garment construction and layering using Chargeurs PCC Fashion Technologies. The 3D Summit highlighted a range of talents and techniques, demonstrating the fusion of tradition and technology in modern fashion design. Each designer pushed boundaries, from AI-driven workflows to sustainable practices, showcasing the potential of digital fashion now and in the future. Last Friday, I attended the IACDE 3D Summit’s Final Event and I enjoyed the discussions and knowledge sharing from both the Browzwear breakout room and from the sessions with Sylwia Szymczyk.   I also had a lot of learnings while working through my 90’s assignments and joining all workshops hosted between December and April. I spent most of my time working on my blazer and shorts outfit where I achieved great results by: ▪️ Adjusting Browzwear Avatar shoulder slope according to European standards ▪️ Updating the shoulder slant of pattern according to the updated avatar ▪️ Adjusting the sleeve head, armhole, facing and collar shape according to tailoring experience ▪️ Drafting the lining for a fully lined style with folds both at lining and main fabric hem ▪️ Creating the shoulderpad and sleeveroller with trims from Chargeurs PCC Fashion Technologies ▪️ Adding Fusing and Interlining from Chargeurs PCC Fashion Technologies according to tailoring experience   The full outfit was simulated in one go with minimal styling adjustments and nothing on “hold”, “flatten” or “re-touch”.
