🌿 Saturday: Creativity, Sustainability, and Innovation at the IACDE Nordic Chapter 10th Anniversary Event - October 19 Saturday will be an immersive day of hands-on learning and forward-thinking discussions at the Design Museum. The day begins with The Sustainable Angle's presentation, "The Future Now: New Design Journeys," which focuses on sustainable sourcing, material innovation, and the role of digital tools in shaping the future of fashion. Workshops will continue with Nicole Line, who will guide participants through the art of sublimation printing, while TOAST leads a session on sashiko and patchwork repair techniques. In the afternoon, Phoebe English will dive into sustainable circular fashion. The Norwegian segment of the Nordic chapter of IACDE is excited to be a part of the society, and eagerly anticipates welcoming new members while acquainting our existing community in Norway with the organisation on Monday, May 13th. We will gather for a private tour of the Oslo Opera House starting at 17:00 followed by drinks and snacks at Svanen in Oslo Centre. Here we can relax, chat and discuss the membership benefits of our organisation. We have open places available for the evening and everyone and anyone interested in the organization, its benefits and more is welcome to contact Ester to grab a spot. The Danish part of the Nordic chapter IACDE is thrilled of being a part of the society and will welcome new members as well as introducing the organisation to our existing community in Denmark on Thursday the 2nd of May. We will meet for a drink and a bite at Format Café at 15.00 at the Danish Design Museum in Bredgade, where there will be a talk, presentation and sharing of the benefits of being a member of IACDE. The event will continue after the talks to an evening at the museum to explore the exhibitions courtesy of IACDE Nordic.
