We are pleased to welcome Fabian Cazares as our new Chief Financial Officer at Infinity Power. Fabian brings over 20 years of diverse experience across renewable energy, private equity, and finance, where he has successfully led mergers, acquisitions, and large-scale financial projects. Notably, he managed over $1 billion in assets at BTE Renewables and played a pivotal role in its acquisition by Engie, marking one of Africa’s largest renewable energy exits. In his new role, Fabian will lead Infinity Power’s financial strategies, secure project financing, and support our growth in renewable energy. Mohamed I. Mansour, Chairman, Infinity Power, will be participating in a pivotal panel discussion at the FT Live Africa Summit, taking place in London on October 30th. The session, titled 'Becoming a Global Hub for Green Hydrogen' will explore Africa’s potential in leading the global green hydrogen economy. As African nations enter agreements with the EU to develop and export renewable hydrogen, this dialogue will focus on strategies for securing investments, balancing environmental impacts, and fostering local economic development through job creation. This award highlights the exceptional efforts made in socio-economic development and community empowerment, demonstrating a tangible impact on local residents' lives. Through initiatives focused on education, skills development, and enterprise support, Infinity Power remains deeply committed to demonstrating how renewable energy projects can contribute to both sustainable growth and the betterment of communities. In 2024, Infinity Power’s socio-economic efforts have made a significant impact. These initiatives include supporting a healthcare centre that assists over 1,000 patients annually, benefiting over 30 communal farmers through a three-year enterprise development programme, and providing essential winter supplies to the elderly. Infinity Power has also funded STEM education for over 842 learners and supported teacher training at ECD centres. We are proud to have this outstanding project as part of the Infinity Power family and remain dedicated to building a better future for all.
