Zijn enorme passie, drive en kennis maken hem een bron van inspiratie voor ons allemaal. Als Chief Innovation Officer stond hij aan de wieg van diverse eerste implementaties, proof of concepts en succesvolle proposities. Bedankt Ronald, voor jouw jarenlange inzet en toewijding! SAP TechEd announcement number 1! Internally often called the "missing piece", its great to see its finally here. At TechEd 2024, SAP announced new embedded data lake features for SAP Datasphere, helping organizations manage and analyze data across cloud and hybrid environments. By preserving raw data in its original form, businesses can now access, integrate, and analyze data while retaining context—leading to more accurate insights and better decision-making. Key features include: • Integrated Object Store for scalable storage • Spark Compute for faster data processing • SQL on Files for querying data without duplication This puts SAP in direct competition with vendors like Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric, offering deep integration with SAP’s enterprise tools and a flexible approach to data management.
