Vandaag ontvingen we de werktuigbouwkundestudenten van Studievereniging Technisch Appèl uit Groningen! Ze kregen een presentatie over KES en een rondleiding. Na het genieten van een broodje kroket met Groningse mosterd, gingen ze aan de slag met een opdracht. In groepen pitchten ze hun ideeën om het laden van koffers in vliegtuigen efficiënter te maken. Bedankt voor jullie creatieve inbreng, mannen!
Over ons
KES B.V. onderhoudt veel verschillende voertuigen (Ground Support Equipment; GSE) die gebruikt worden op de luchthaven. Denk hierbij aan de-icers, ground power units (GPU’s), vliegtuigtrekkers, transportbanden en bagage loaders, maar ook aan passagiersbussen en tankwagens. Naast preventief en correctief onderhoud, voeren we ook modificaties uit aan de verschillende bedrijfswagens en de nieuwste elektrische bussen. KES B.V. beschikt dan ook over een brede deskundigheid in alle technische aspecten van voertuigen en equipment voor de vluchtafhandeling van vliegtuigen. Het merendeel van de activiteiten vinden plaats op Schiphol, maar KES B.V. bedient ook klanten op diverse internationale luchthavens in het buitenland.

KLM heeft een overeenkomst gesloten met het Belgische bedrijf TCR International voor de verkoop van haar divisie Equipment Services. Dit heeft TCR desgevraagd bevestigd. De verwachting is dat de overname per 1 februari is afgerond. KLM zal daarna betalen voor het onderhoud en de huur van grondmaterieel.
