Hello Everyone, After what’s been a busy few weeks, I can now continue to show you the next production room in our new premises, our Press Room…. Along with purchasing our new dye sublimation printers from Sabur Digital Ltd, we also bought two Klieverik GTC111-2000 SPFL calender presses. Dye sublimation is a process where an image is dyed directly into the fabric. After the image is printed onto special sublimation paper, the printed roll is transferred to a calender press. The printed paper and blank towels are fed through a pressurised, heated system, which causes the ink to sublimate and infuse directly into the fibres of the towel. After exploring various calender presses at FESPA this year, we ultimately chose the Klieverik calenders. While they were more expensive than some alternatives, we were impressed by their superior build quality and felt they offered better value for money. The Klieverik team was also extremely accommodating, helping us customise the setup to perfectly suit our operation.
