Daniel Okumura, CEDAE's Sanitation Director, reports that implementing the new technologies has led to significant cost savings. Most of the financial savings, about 90% are achieved by reducing the use of activated carbon. Additionally, the use of chlorine was reduced by 27% and aluminum sulfate by 5%. The MPC buoys, with their advanced monitoring and ultrasonic algae control, allow for precise and efficient water treatment, demonstrating an innovative approach to resource management and 100% environmental protection.
