🗣️What drives the repair boom? 💥 That’s the question I got to answer as the closing keynote at Emerce Fashion at Pakhuis de Zwijger. As always, the topic of repair on the mainstage of a mainstream event is... major for MENDED. My highlights: 👉🏼 I shared the story of the TEDx jeans that started it all. 👉🏼 My mentor (& hero) Julie Perkins saw me live on stage for the 1st time. 👉🏼 I got to wear Martan and let me tell you: The way you dress is part of the play. Funny how it completely changed how an audience perceives repair - from dusty to premium. I spoke about repair through the angles of policy, profitability, loyalty, sustainability, and product data. Time to keep 👏 clothes 👏 in 👏 play.
