Take home messages: 1) access to finance remains unresolved (and asking financiers to reconsider their risk appetite is not the solution :)), 2) delivering new resources into the project pipeline…. On 2) i am happy to return to Kosovo after this event, get my boots dirty again, and cooperate with our local team, led by Mentor Demi , at Western Tethyan Resources Ltd to deliver on our ambition to discover new copper and gold resources. The political agreement on the #CriticalRawMaterialsAct is a crucial step for greater open strategic autonomy of Europe and towards defending our industry. Critical raw materials are the fuel of the #GreenTransition. With this new legislation we will boost domestic mining, processing and refining capacities, promote more recycling, and continue to work with our partners to diversify external supplies. Quite a journey since we launched the idea back during the French Presidency at the Conference on the strategic economic autonomy of the European Union in March 2022.
