Take a look at one of our favourites from Fakuma Messe 2024! Just over a week ago, we concluded a great week at the fair in Friedrichshafen. It was a pleasure connecting with all the plastics industry professionals we met. The 𝗠𝗖𝗦 𝗢𝗳𝗳-𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 was a real eye-catcher during the fair, and rightfully so. This unit prioritises safety, relocating the dosing unit from the top of the production line to the ground floor next to the production machine. This video shows the material being dosed from the 𝗠𝗖𝗦 𝗢𝗳𝗳-𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 and then shot up the production machine. The unit is completely separated from the production machine, making it easily accessible and also immune to production vibrations that can influence the dosing accuracy. Be on the lookout for over the following weeks; we will share more interesting insights from the fair! #fair #innovation #plastics #production

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 We are pleased to introduce Isabella, one of our System Engineers at Movacolor. Isabella plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of our products throughout the assembly process. Today, she offers valuable insights into the Engineering Department, sharing her responsibilities and the essential work that drives our success. "My job as a system engineer involves a wide variety of tasks. I am mostly concerned with mechanics and electronics; however, next to developing solutions, I am also responsible for the testing procedure of new products and supporting the software development team by developing technical solutions." Isabella's role extends beyond the engineering department as she collaborates closely with other key departments such as testing, product support, and assembly. For instance, she takes charge of guiding and assisting in the assembly procedure of new parts before a product launch. "I find this position fascinating because there is not one boring day. I have been working on short- and long-term projects, and I noticed that no matter what task I get in the department, something new always develops my knowledge further and allows me to broaden my knowledge." Isabella emphasizes problem-solving and teamwork as the cornerstone of her role. As an engineer, she constantly faces new challenges that demand innovative solutions. With a customer-first approach, she listens to customers' needs and devises customized solutions when necessary to deliver the best outcomes. 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴? When working with expensive additives, achieving perfect blend homogeneity is essential. Traditional blenders risk de-mixing and segregation, leading to inconsistencies. This often forces your operators to overdose additives to compensate, driving up material costs without fully resolving the issue. 💸 But there's a better way! The 𝗠𝗛𝗕𝗦 𝗛𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 combines blending with inline dosing for full control over your additives. It improves accuracy, 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟬%, and ensures consistent product quality. Go beyond blending and get the best of both blending and dosing. Curious about our Hybrid concept? Click on the link below for more information. https://bit.ly/3BUhABb

🎉 Day 2 at Fakuma Messe 2024 is underway! 🎉 We continue showcasing our latest dosing technologies at the Movacolor stand, Booth A3–3002. During today's coffee break, we were excited to present the MCS Regrind, our innovative solution for closed-loop recycling. This system doses rejects and sprues in the form of regrind, resulting in substantial savings of additives. The MCS Regrind functions as the main unit, dosing the recycled material, while a second unit operates in conjunction to dose additives. This means the maximum available amount of regrind is used for your production process. Discover how the MCS Regrind can enhance your sustainability efforts and improve production efficiency by clicking the link below! 🔗 https://bit.ly/4dPolld Next Up: The MCS Off-Line dosing We'll have our next Coffee Break session tomorrow, during which we'll dive into the MCS Offline dosing. See you there! ‼️ Please note that our coffee breaks will now be from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. instead of the previously communicated 10:00 to 10:30 a.m.
