How would you 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍 about going to a festival where the lineup is completely unknown until you actually get there? Earlier this summer, we had the pleasure of contributing to the Feel Festival at Bergheider See, Germany. Where the lineup stays a secret every year! Another things that sets Feel Festival apart is its tight-knit community of volunteers and local creatives pulling together to create something truly special. After a 1.5-week build-up we supported the festival’s 25,000 attendees with MTD Water’s solutions, including: 💧Two bathroom compounds supplied by our large buffer bags for the camping areas. 💧 Several water tap points ensuring hydration was always within reach. 💧 Reliable water supply for multiple food courts for safe and efficient service. 💧Water was also provided to the chill-out areas, including the festival's swimming pool and sauna! We are nearing the end of the summer festival season in the Netherlands, but not before a trip to one of our yearly favorites: 𝐌𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝! With a stunning Mystery Box main stage and an impressive bamboo-filled stage named The Pyramid, the 31st edition of Mysteryland was once again a feast for the senses. From the festival locations to the campsites, our water services could be found all over the grounds! While the location has some challenges, being held at the beautiful nature reserve in Haarlemmermeer, at MTD Water we always excel at finding the right solutions to keep our water services flowing! We're proud to share that MTD Water participated at CarFest for the very first time this year! Held at Laverstoke Park Farm, Basingstoke, it’s one of the UK’s largest family fundraising festivals. Founded by radio presenter Chris Evans, CarFest raises money for various children’s charities, including BBC Children in Need and the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust. We always love all our projects evenly, but obviously this meaningful cause gave an extra boost to provide our essential water and sanitation solutions! Our services included: ◦ Standpipes, drinking water, and handwashing stations for the arena and campsites ◦ Potwash facilities for campers, catering sinks and hot handwash sinks ◦ Connections for showers, crew kitchens, and on-site accommodation ◦ Over 700m³ of buffer storage A special shoutout to lead engineer Brad, supported by Filly, Carl, Charlie, Rhys, Jim, and Paul, for their outstanding work. And a special mention to Water Hygiene Solutions Ltd for stepping in last minute to assist us with a chlorination — it was a team effort! MTD Water at All Points East 2024: Bringing our trusted water solutions and some new inventions to Victoria Park! We're proud to have played a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of All Points East 2024, held in London's Victoria Park. From August 16th to 25th, music lovers gathered for an unforgettable experience, and behind the scenes, our MTD UK team was hard at work making sure every aspect of water management was taken care of. This year, our team, led by Jac with support from Mick and PM Akshay, delivered a comprehensive range of services: ⦿ Standpipes for caterers and traders ⦿ Drinking water stations across the venue ⦿ Hand washing facilities and toilets ⦿ Artist showers to keep everyone fresh ⦿ Water for crew accommodation and catering kitchens    And, new this year, we introduced sprinkler systems for dust suppression around the East Stage, as requested by our clients at LS Events. This addition made it a cleaner and more enjoyable environment for everyone involved at this time of the year. Creating unforgettable experiences at 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀 2024! 🚀 We had an incredible weekend at Creamfields in Warrington! MTD Water had the privilege of supporting APL Event at one of the world’s biggest EDM festivals. From connecting toilets, showers, setting up crew sleeper units to providing the well-needed drinking water, we ensured that everything ran smoothly for the near 80,000 people that attended Creamfields this year. Our team, led by Ged Jones and supported by Steven Hill and Will Janes, continued the great work they've been doing all summer. And we were in great company with other suppliers like Ontrax Rentals and Power Logistics, who also played vital roles in making the festival a success. Friday flashback to the Focus event in Newark, UK! Our summer has been brimming with great projects, and the season is still going strong! A few weeks ago, we had the privilege of playing a vital role in 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 2024 at Newark Showground for the third consecutive year. This event, organized by HTB Church, brought together thousands of attendees for a weekend filled with community bonding. Our team, led by Greg Ashe, with engineers James Lewis and Filimoni Laqeretabua, and supported by Project Manager Akshay Sehgal, worked tirelessly over the 10-day build and 5-day derig to ensure everything ran smoothly. From the showers and toilets to the drinking water stations and washing-up areas, we provided everything needed for the community to recharge, reconnect, and refocus. A lot has changed since 1995, but our water services still keep the music flowing at Lowlands! What started as a one-van job for MTD in 1995 has grown into a project of epic proportions. Each year, the Lowlands festival transforms Biddinghuizen, Netherlands, into a musical paradise with several headliners on multiple stages. Amidst all the excitement, MTD Water proudly played a crucial role behind the scenes, ensuring seamless access to water and sanitation services for everyone on site. Here's a glimpse of what we provided: - 8 bathhouses across the campsite 🏕️ - 6 public toilet clusters throughout the festival grounds 🚻 - 20 bars 🍻 - 4 large kitchens for the crew and artists 👩🍳 - 60 catering stands 🍔 - 70 U2 units 💧 - 600m³ waste water buffer 🌊 - 250m³ drinking water buffer 🚰 Our team worked tirelessly over three weeks for the build-up, with a team of 10 in the final week, and another two weeks dedicated to breakdown. The result? A smoothly running festival that kept 60,000+ attendees fresh and comfortable (as far as festival life allows), fully enjoying the Lowlands experience. Sziget 2024: keeping six days of festival on Budapest's Island of Freedom flowing! With up to 80,000 visitors each day, Sziget is one of the largest and most diverse music festivals in Europe, drawing attendees from over 100 countries. With more than 1,000 performances spread across 50 stages, Sziget once again lived up to its reputation as the "Island of Freedom" 🏝️. MTD Water proudly played a key role in ensuring that this massive event ran smoothly by providing crucial temporary water infrastructure. Our contribution included seven 50m³ potable water buffer bags, several smaller buffer bags and tanks, and over 10 Wall bottle refill stations to ensure a continuous water supply. We deployed more than 7 kilometers of piping and 55 U2 pumps to manage both potable water and wastewater effectively throughout the six-day festival. With a 16-day build, 9 days of standby coverage for the event, and 8 days of derig, it was quite the project.
