Helping patients discover and access treatments

Over ons

Our mission is to enable earlier and better access to all possible treatment options. We aim to break barriers for eligible patients to receive information on and enroll in clinical trials and expanded access programs by providing a single digital platform to connect all stakeholders of pre-approval access. Patients and physicians come to us to stay informed about clinical trials and expanded access programs and guidance on how to access them. Our Patient Navigators are an essential point of contact for patients during their entire journey. We always provide these services free of charge to them. We support BioPharma companies by making their clinical trials and expanded access programs more accessible. We charge BioPharma companies for our services, which include supporting clinical trial recruitment and managing international expanded access programs, logistics, quality management, distribution, and real-world data collection. myTomorrows has offices in Amsterdam and New York City and operates globally. We have helped almost over 11,000 patients and 2,000 physicians worldwide.

We’re excited to share that myTomorrows has partnered with the CureLGMD2i Foundation!🚀 The mission of CureLGMD2i is to spread awareness, provide advocacy, and raise funds to research and support patients suffering from Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Type 2I/R9 (LGMD2I/R9). 🔬LGMD2I/R9 is a form of Muscular Dystrophy that causes profound muscle wasting and weakness, primarily affecting the shoulders, thighs and hip muscles. While there is currently no cure for LGMD2I/R9, several investigational treatments are being explored in clinical trials. Unfortunately, accessing and navigating these trials can be challenging for those affected by the disease. 🌍 Our partnership seeks to simplify this process for patients and physicians. By using myTomorrows’ search engine, patients and physicians may more easily find relevant clinical trial options on a global scale. Additionally, myTomorrows’ patient navigators are available to provide guidance and support throughout the entire clinical trial journey, helping people with LGMD2I/R9 make the most informed decisions about their care. 🌅 Dr. Michel van Harten, CEO of myTomorrows, highlighted the value of this partnership, stating “This collaboration advances our commitment to empowering patients and healthcare professionals with the confidence and knowledge they need throughout their treatment journeys.” ➡️ Read more about this partnership here https://lnkd.in/dPNEaMEr #LGMD #LimbGirdle #MuscularDystrophy #Clinicaltrial #PatientSupport

☀️Exciting News☀️ We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership between myTomorrows and PCE Pancreatic Cancer Europe. This union represents a collaborative effort to improve access to clinical trial information for patients affected by pancreatic cancer, their caregivers, and healthcare professionals.🚀 🌎 Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer deaths, with a life expectancy of only 6-12 months at time of diagnosis and a 5-year survival rate of just 10%. The many challenges associated with this cancer include a lack of awareness about the disease among the public, late diagnosis, and limited treatment options. Through this partnership, Pancreatic Cancer Europe will utilize myTomorrows’ advanced search engine to provide up-to-date information on ongoing clinical trials, helping patients and healthcare professionals navigate this complex landscape more effectively. ➡️ Patient advocacy groups are making significant strides in helping patient through their treatment journey, and by deepening our collaboration, we aim to further strengthen their mission to support patients access to investigational treatment options. Dr. Michel van Harten Harten, CEO of myTomorrows, commented, “Collaborating with leading patient advocacy groups like Pancreatic Cancer Europe helps us extend our reach to more patients in need and empower them to navigate their treatment journeys with more confidence and knowledge, while enabling pharmaceutical companies to expand access throughout the drug development cycle.” 💪 Through this partnership, we strive to provide more accessible, clear, and supportive resources to those affected by pancreatic cancer. Have you considered how the diversity of clinical trial participants can impact the outcomes and approval of new drugs in the BioPharma industry? 🤔 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are crucial to get a complete picture of a drug’s safety and efficacy across different populations. Despite its importance, the clinical trial participant population often doesn't reflect individuals in the real world. Recognizing this issue, the FDA is producing guidance documents to ensure that clinical studies appropriately test the product in a representative sample of the intended use population (read more here: https://lnkd.in/epvUTzX3). 🌎 However, there are barriers that hinder participation of specific groups in clinical trials, making it challenging to have a representative sample of the intended use population. Some of these barriers involve geographic and socioeconomic factors, access to information and language barriers and having a restrictive study design. ✔️ By focusing on recruiting patients from the diverse ethnicities that reflect the drug’s intended use population, partnering with community hospitals, and enhancing diversity among trial participants and researchers, the BioPharma industry can ensure more comprehensive and reliable research outcomes, aligning with FDA guidelines and avoiding costly delays and compliance issues.   ➡️ At myTomorrows, we strive to support BioPharma to make clinical trials more accessible and inclusive. By acting as a connected hub between patients, advocacy groups, physicians, and BioPharma, we aim to directly address some of these barriers. Curious to know more about DEI in clinical trial recruitment? Read our blog: https://lnkd.in/eSTQT2ZC Together, we can ensure a brighter, more inclusive future for medical research. #ClinicalTrials #DEI #DiversityEquityInclusion #HealthEquity #MedicalResearch #InclusiveResearch
