Helping patients discover and access treatments

Over ons

Our mission is to enable earlier and better access to all possible treatment options. We aim to break barriers for eligible patients to receive information on and enroll in clinical trials and expanded access programs by providing a single digital platform to connect all stakeholders of pre-approval access. Patients and physicians come to us to stay informed about clinical trials and expanded access programs and guidance on how to access them. Our Patient Navigators are an essential point of contact for patients during their entire journey. We always provide these services free of charge to them. We support BioPharma companies by making their clinical trials and expanded access programs more accessible. We charge BioPharma companies for our services, which include supporting clinical trial recruitment and managing international expanded access programs, logistics, quality management, distribution, and real-world data collection. myTomorrows has offices in Amsterdam and New York City and operates globally. We have helped almost over 11,000 patients and 2,000 physicians worldwide.

Have you considered how the diversity of clinical trial participants can impact the outcomes and approval of new drugs in the BioPharma industry? 🤔 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are crucial to get a complete picture of a drug’s safety and efficacy across different populations. Despite its importance, the clinical trial participant population often doesn't reflect individuals in the real world. Recognizing this issue, the FDA is producing guidance documents to ensure that clinical studies appropriately test the product in a representative sample of the intended use population (read more here: https://lnkd.in/epvUTzX3). 🌎 However, there are barriers that hinder participation of specific groups in clinical trials, making it challenging to have a representative sample of the intended use population. Some of these barriers involve geographic and socioeconomic factors, access to information and language barriers and having a restrictive study design. ✔️ By focusing on recruiting patients from the diverse ethnicities that reflect the drug’s intended use population, partnering with community hospitals, and enhancing diversity among trial participants and researchers, the BioPharma industry can ensure more comprehensive and reliable research outcomes, aligning with FDA guidelines and avoiding costly delays and compliance issues.   ➡️ At myTomorrows, we strive to support BioPharma to make clinical trials more accessible and inclusive. By acting as a connected hub between patients, advocacy groups, physicians, and BioPharma, we aim to directly address some of these barriers. Curious to know more about DEI in clinical trial recruitment? Read our blog: https://lnkd.in/eSTQT2ZC Together, we can ensure a brighter, more inclusive future for medical research. #ClinicalTrials #DEI #DiversityEquityInclusion #HealthEquity #MedicalResearch #InclusiveResearch

☀️ We recently celebrated our most anticipated event of the year #myTomorrowland ☀️ It was a fantastic opportunity for all of us at myTomorrows to come together, share our successes, and grow stronger as a team.🚀 We kicked off the celebration with the official opening of our re-branded office in Amsterdam!👏 The event continued with interactive sessions and inspiring presentations from our Mighties Michel, Ferdinand, Marshall, Dennis, Daniele, Karlijn, Jytte, Roos and Jasmin. Consuela Esseboom from The School of Life Amsterdam ran a fantastic session on the importance of self-awareness: understanding ourselves helps us become better team members, contributing to a cohesive workplace. We were also honored to be joined by a guest who shared his inspiring patient story. His valuable insights helped us to get a deeper understanding of the challenges and difficulties faced by cancer patients. Towards the end, we were treated to a boat ride along the canals of Amsterdam! ⛴️ Special thanks to our Mighty organizers Sarah Swain, Sarah Gunson, Maud Ménard, Mariska Voorham, Adrianne Rivard, Alexandra Mic and Sacha Evans for putting together such a memorable and meaningful event! 👏 #WeAreMighty #mightymission #teamwork #MyTomorrowland #teambuilding

Our team is back from Cambridge after an exciting few days at #BNOS2024! They are still buzzing from the amazing conversations, presentations, and even shout outs that took place at the conference. Here are just a few highlights they shared (it was hard to narrow it down!): → There is a lot of interest from the community in putting AI to good use, especially when it comes to clinical trial recruitment. → As there has not been a new treatment for Glioblastoma in 19 years and patients are increasingly asking about clinical trials that might be available and want to find a way to make them more accessible. → Our team looked great dressed to the nines for the annual conference dinner😉 If you didn’t get the chance to connect with our team at BNOS, you can schedule a call with Daniël Groeneweg here https://lnkd.in/eu9eFvbq. We hope to see you there next year!

Our team is reflecting on an energizing few days at the #ALSNexus conference! We engaged in thought provoking discussions with the ALS Community, exchanging insights on access to clinical trials and changing the future of #ALS. The team was impressed by the range of topics covered and particularly inspired by the remarkable work and research spearheaded by The ALS Association, alongside other organizations, striving to make ALS a more livable disease. In particular, the pivotal role of clinical trials in achieving this goal was especially emphasized. Mar Soto Ruiz de la Torre, PhD and Dennis Akkaya got the chance to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by getting drenched in cold water, and even made it on local television! If you haven’t connected with us yet, you can book a meeting with Dennis here https://lnkd.in/ggau2RAD and discover more about working with myTomorrows and our commitment to changing outcomes for patients with rare diseases.
