👉 Inspiring presentations and lectures gave insights into the future of drug development and health care applications at Dutch Medicine Days 2024. 💡 Our colleague Barend Bouma shared insights about “drug repurposing programs” that embody the potential to extend therapeutic application of an existing drug molecule to a novel indication, to aid patient groups that currently lack adequate or effective treatment. Developing an existing drug for a new indication may be a faster route to the clinic. Also Barend joined FAST in a noteworthy presentation, where he spoke about “from lab to clinic”. 🔔 Our other colleague Kolja Adamczyk was part of the Scientific Committee of the Dutch Medicines Days 2024, where he contributed in selecting three winners of the so called “Poster Sessions”.
