𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 🙌  Recently, in our ORTEC Zoetermeer office we shed a light on the (daily) challenges faced by our colleagues with disabilities. To provide a very hands-on perspective on accessibility, ORTEC colleagues could step into their shoes for a day and experience what it's like to navigate life with a mobility aid. Throughout the week, wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters were offered to those wanting to broaden their horizons and take part in the eye-opening “Challenge your perspective” initiative!👨🦽💨 As Marije Zomerdijk, EVP Data Science & Consulting at ORTEC reflects: “I believe understanding begins with being aware of different perspectives and having open conversations where people feel safe to share their experiences related to disability. Creating a space for open dialogue allows us to learn from and understand one another." As part of this week, we also hosted an insightful presentation about Accessible Design. Trishala G. guided us through the necessary guidelines and insights to make our software accessible for everyone. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗖 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 in March versus July 🌱 In March, some of our ORTEC colleagues joined our partner Trees for All during the annual Tree Planting Day. Alongside other companies, we’ve gotten our hands dirty and planted the seed(ling)s to transform grassland into a thriving forest in 'Het Groene Woud', the Netherlands. Here's what the planting side looks like now: the trees we've planted are in full leaf, adding new life to 'Het Groene Woud'. What a fantastic performance by our ORTEC colleagues during the ‘Best of Limburg’ and ‘Tocht van Groningen’! 💪   Our sporty colleagues were at the start of this challenging cycling tour that took place on the official route of the European Cycling Championships. From steep hills to rolling roads - the Limburg landscape put the participants to the test. Riding over 160km through the Groninger Hogeland, the Lauwersmeergebied, and a part of Friesland was a real challenge too.   With determination and team spirit, our colleagues pedaled their way to the finish line. With the beautiful nature as a backdrop and the encouragement of supporters along the way, it was an unforgettable experience for everyone. 👏   #LifeatORTEC #teamspirit #sportevent
