Meet Mytte Staps our expert on Talent Development and Traineeships and one of our very passionate Learning & Development managers. Mytte has a background in hospitality. After graduating from the Hotel Management in Maastricht, she worked at various establishments including Vermaat, Pulitzer Amsterdam, and Kimpton de Witt. Ultimately, Mytte discovered she was much more interested in the internal guests (the team) than external ones. Driven by her passion for unleashing potential, she focused on the development of the team so talent could flourish. To further develop her knowledge and skills Mytte completed the Co-Active coach training. In her free time, Mytte loves staying active through bouldering and dancing. She has a passion for discovering new things, whether it's trying out new dishes (both cooking and tasting) or exploring different cultures and activities. Spending time in nature, enjoying silence, and practicing yoga bring her a sense of inner calm. Mental health is becoming an increasingly urgent priority worldwide. Some key findings of the latest Ipsos report include: 👉76% of people globally believe that mental and physical health are equally important. However, 41% saying physical health is treated as more important. 👉Many of us globally have experienced stress in the past year that kept us from going to work. A majority of Gen Z, 54%, according to the Global Country Average, report having experienced stress in the past year that prevented them from going to work, while a slightly lower percentage of Millennials, 47%, say the same. In contrast, older generations are generally less likely to report high levels of stress across the various factors surveyed by Ipsos. ᴀ ᴘᴏsɪᴛɪᴠᴇ ғɪʀsᴛ ɪᴍᴘʀᴇssɪᴏɴ Last week, I embarked on a new journey with the Rabobank Pioneers. This is the fourth group I’ll be guiding through their Young Pioneer Program, and the last one after a journey I’ve thoroughly enjoyed in my work at Peak4. It was wonderful to witness the openness and vulnerability of these pioneers. We kicked off the day with a Pecha Kucha—a method designed to keep things brief and to the point. We had five questions about ourselves, with 30 seconds to answer each. Afterward, the group had time to ask follow-up, deepening questions. The first step toward connection was made. We concluded by offering each participant a positive impression—just one word, like a gift. The idea was to listen, receive, and write it down. Some may have gained new insights about how they come across, while others may have received confirmation of what they already knew. It was a wonderful way to begin this journey. Diversity wins Diverse teams often bring different working styles, perspectives, and expectations. Adaptability allows team members to adjust their approaches and collaborate more effectively. In today's dynamic work environment, change is constant, whether it's shifts in technology, market demands, or internal restructuring. A team that can adapt quickly to these changes is better positioned to maintain high performance and trust. And the leaders of these teams should be adaptable and guide their teams through uncertainty, modeling flexibility and resilience. They should help the team stay focused on long-term goals despite short-term disruptions. During a team day Mara Moberg and I tested the adaptivity of one of our clients together with OnlyFriends. An organization that truly embraces diversity and inclusion. We experienced that change and adapting yourself, though uneasy at first, is possible and gives new insights and, often an even better way of collaborating. Insightful and fun! Leaving a legacy? Last week, SKIM's global leadership team gathered in the Netherlands to shape a collective vision. Shifting from individual goals to team performance, we asked everyone to look at two critical topics: 💪 What do I add? How does my inner power contribute to the team? 🌟 What do I need? How can other team members help me succeed? One key reflection emerged from a boxing clinic led by former WCC world-champion kickboxing Piëtro Doorjé: "You are sparring partners, together responsible for the outcome. If you are too focused on not getting hit, if you don't seek the conflict, you miss out on opportunities to grow. Find trust to get in the fight. Let go of fear. Get comfortable adapting to the unique style of your sparring partner and move forward." A big shoutout to the Peak4 team - Annelie & Hilke for co-facilitating this day with me, and Mara for sharing her personal story of leaving a legacy.

Our projectmanagers create a memorable experience of each L&D programme, with a focus on people, location, food & drinks and the flow of the day. Silke manages logistics with a fresh energy and passion for the right details. In her free time, Silke enjoys being outdoors in nature, playing field hockey, and trying out new sports such as kitesurfing.
