Photonics West 2025 has come to an end, but the energy is still high! More than 20 Dutch photonics companies made the trip to San Francisco for the world’s largest photonics event. We kicked off the week with Photonics Innovation Day, bringing together the European integrated photonics ecosystem and North American industry leaders at Plug and Play Tech Center. With over 400 attendees, the event was a fantastic opportunity to exchange insights, discuss the latest developments, and spark new collaborations. Then came the Photonics West expo, where the NL Pavilion became a true hotspot! The booth saw an incredible flow of visitors, and our Wednesday networking reception was buzzing with conversations and new connections. A huge thank you to Jorn Smeets, Jevgenija Kiknavelidze, Peter van Arkel, Eelko Brinkhoff and Stijn van den Broek from PhotonDelta and Daniela Godoy and Petra Wicherink from PhotonicsNL for their incredible dedication, hard work, and seamless execution—your efforts made all the difference and truly elevated the event! 👏 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us—see you next year! 👏✨
