These included cloud services like Priva Operator and APIs, LED lighting control, Aranet wireless sensors, and PIM-based irrigation management.   With this refresher, our partners are ready to support growers with the latest advancements to improve performance! 🚀

🌱 Tip for Growers | Spring has arrived in the Northern Hemisphere. With the sun making regular appearances, temperature fluctuations are inevitable. And when cold spring nights arrive, your greenhouse can quickly lose valuable heat. ⏳ Close energy screens on time! Leaving them open too long in the late afternoon may seem beneficial for extra sunlight, but heat escapes quickly when temperatures drop. 💡 The fix: Close the screens just before temperatures start to drop to retain heat and stabilize your climate. 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥! Saving energy isn't just about settings - it's also about maintenance. Small malfunctions can lead to unnecessary energy waste. Prevent this with a few simple checks: ✅ Heating: Check that your heating pipes are maintaining the set temperature. If the measured pipe temperature doesn't follow the calculated value correctly, a faulty sensor or an unresponsive mixing valve could be the cause. ✅Vents: Are your vents working efficiently or are they opening and closing all the time? Make sure leeward and windward vents open the same percentage (e.g., 5%) to maintain consistent air exchange even when the wind direction changes. ✅ Fine-tune settings: Small adjustments can make a big difference! Lowering the duct temperature from 45°C to 42°C can save energy. For air movement, a temperature difference of about 12°C from the greenhouse climate is usually sufficient. You can further optimize this with a setting based on the measured greenhouse temperature. Calibration procedure: Not sure of your ventilation settings? Refer to Ventilation Calibration - I128 in the Priva Connext manual for details.
