At Qblox we operate at the frontier of the quantum revolution. With a dedicated team of scientists, engineers and developers we are pushing quantum technology to support scientists worldwide with our scalable and low-latency qubit control equipment. We are the sole providers of quantum control stacks that can be easily integrated with our customers’ quantum computers. The stacks combine unlevelled noise performance, low-latency arbitrary control flows and can be scaled up to 100s of qubits. Our company is based in the Netherlands and a spinoff of QuTech, which enables us to implement the latest scientific insights and take a position upfront in the worldwide race towards quantum advantage.

  • How fast and precise can we be? At #Qblox, we love solving puzzles, whether it’s a balancing game or the complexities of quantum computing! Today, on (US) National Puzzle Day, we’re celebrating a major recent quantum puzzle solved: fully automated QPU characterization and a 2-qubit CZ gate in under 25 minutes. Together with QuantrolOx, using QuantWare’s QPUs at the Bluefors Lab, we solved the puzzle of qubit tune-up in a way that is both automated and precise, yet remarkably fast. What once took weeks (characterizing tens of qubits) now takes just hours. This innovation enables QPU developers to iterate hundreds of times per year, dramatically accelerating progress and driving advancements in quantum computing. With each puzzle piece falling into place swiftly and accurately, we were able to ship solutions to our customers, allowing them to remain at the forefront of quantum exploration and continue tackling new challenges in the world of superconducting qubits.     💥 Breakthrough in the development towards scalable quantum computers! QuantrolOx and Qblox have set new industry benchmark using QuantWare’s QPUs achieving fully automated quantum processing unit (QPU) #characterization and #tuneup, creating a 2-qubit CZ gate in under 25 minutes! This task, previously requiring several PhD-level experts up to a week, marks a significant leap toward scalable quantum computing QuantrolOx software, Qblox control electronics and QuantWare QPUs seamlessly blend together to deliver an open architecture stack enabling customers to achieve rapid results. Automation of 2-qubit gate tuneup is often seen as “ the Holy Grail" of QPU development. This is because 2-qubit gates are the cornerstone of all quantum algorithms and for harnessing quantum systems with quantum error correction. I.e. realising universal fault tolerant quantum computers. By automating the tuneup, the speed of comprehensive characterization of 10s of qubits is now executed in hours instead of weeks or months. This means QPU developers can run 100s of iterative development cycles for their QPUs per year as compared to only a handful right now. 🤝 This breakthrough, demonstrated at the Bluefors Lab in #Delft using #QuantumEDGE software with Qblox Cluster and QuantWare’s QPU, is now ready to ship 🚢 to customers working with superconducting qubits #quantumcomputing Read more in the post: https://lnkd.in/entdKKjf
