Celebrating Rotterdam’s New Arrivals during our annual Red Carpet Dinner Tonight, during our Red Carpet Dinner, we had the honor of welcoming this year’s New Arrivals—international companies that have chosen Rotterdam as their new home with our support. This year’s theme “Tomorrow is now” reflects our mission to strengthen the economic resilience of Rotterdam every day. Hosted at the iconic de Doelen, we began with a pre event during which Vice Mayor Robert Simons personally welcomed all of our new arrivals. A special addition was the personalized Feyenoord Rotterdam N.V. t-shirts with the companies’ logo on the back. The evening was enriched by captivating performances from the talented Codarts Rotterdam | University of the Arts Pop Orchestra and spoken word artist Amara Gabriëla van der Elst. We were also delighted to hear from three New Arrivals - Berkshire Grey, SWANCOR HOLDING CO., LTD., and GULF TURBO SERVICES—who took the stage to share their inspiring reasons for choosing Rotterdam. Following the presentations, guests enjoyed a delightful walking dinner, offering plenty of opportunity for networking, catered by Maher Al Sabbagh. A heartfelt thank you to de Doelen for their warm hospitality and to Nathan Wiersma of S.V.P. Sfeerbeheer for the seamless organization of the event. Special thanks also to Rene Hermes, Munka Lu, and Rehan Karanjia for their contributions on stage. On the final day, the project coordinator, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), presented BlueBARGE during the morning session.
