Aida holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Erasmus MC Rotterdam, specializing in Bio-Molecular Sciences. Recently our Junior Scientist, Liselotte Nass, has co-authored a charming children's book titled Met mama naar Mars! 🚀 Liselotte's passion for science and storytelling has resulted in this wonderful book, that brings adventure and education to young readers. As a part of ASML scholarship program, she participated in a project to make technology appealing for the youth. This book is a wonderful way to inspire future generations of scientists. Recently jens vroman, a chemistry student from Ghent University, has successfully completed his internship with our Materials team. Jens played a key role in our ongoing project, contributing significantly to the development of luminescent phosphors for warm white LEDs. Inspiring the Next Generation of Innovators! Last month, we welcomed students from Open Schoolgemeenschap Bijlmer Amsterdam to Seaborough for their professional orientation experience. They explored our chemical and electronic labs, learned about natural and indoor lighting, and even took on a project to assemble an electronic circuit with LED! We believe it is important to introduce high school student to various aspects of working life, encourage them to think out of the box and inspire them to think about their future education and career. Recently, our Materials Team demonstrated world's first near-100% quantum efficiency ultra small YAG:Ce particles: Crystalight!   We have also demonstrated strongly improved stability compared to state-of-the-art materials.
