🌍 Pymwymic Closes €71.5M Fund II for Sustainable Food Systems!! In a world where the environmental impact of our food systems can no longer be ignored, it's vital to take action. Pymwymic closes succesfully their Healthy Food Systems Impact Fund II, surpassing their initial target with a total of €71.5 million raised. 🌱 This significant achievement was made possible through the commitment of more than 250 private investors and 7 institutional investors like: Invest-NL & Oost NL. Together, they are tackling the most urgent challenges in food production and consumption today. 📈 Since 1994, Pymwymic has been a pioneer in the transition to impact investing that cares for people and the planet. With the support of hundreds of private investors, and entrepreneurs, and in partnership with several institutional investors, they have launched two impact funds. These funds meet the highest sustainability standards under Article 9 of the European legislation on sustainable investments. 🌟 By investing in solutions that address biodiversity loss, ecological degradation, and human health issues, our community is leading the charge to transform our food and agricultural systems fundamentally. 🌹 Our Alumn Corvus Drones is revolutionizing Rose Farming with High-Tech Solutions! 🌍 Their latest technology has achieved an incredible 90% accuracy in predicting rose yield and detecting powdery mildew, transforming how growers manage their crops. 🔍 After rigorous testing at rose farms in the Netherlands and Ecuador, this AI-powered drone technology has proven its effectiveness. Not only can it predict yields with high precision days and weeks in advance, but it can also spot the tiniest instances of powdery mildew (1-2 mm) on roses. 💼 The misalignment between rose production and retail demand costs the industry an estimated €50 million annually. By integrating real-time data from drone scans with historical climate data and forecasts, this technology offers a robust solution that minimizes waste and maximizes efficiency. 📊 The service, provided as a Drone as a Service (DaaS), is currently used by growers in over 15 countries, including The Netherlands, Germany, Ecuador, the USA, and Kenya. It allows for comprehensive monitoring without the need for large upfront investments. 🌐 The interactive greenhouse maps provided by the service enable growers to take swift and precise actions to address any issues, further enhancing productivity and sustainability in rose farming.
