🧑🏼🏫 Last Friday we concluded the AIProHealth Summer School Data Science and AI in Health 2024 with a pitch competition. After a pre-programme, an on-site week (either at the UMCG in Groningen, or in Tartu), and an online hackathon, all 8 teams presented their MVP. 🥳 Congratulations to team Orange for winning the competition and claiming the prize from EIT Health. Rapid advancements in data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) call for a new generation of clinicians and (clinical) scientists, who are able to develop and introduce new prediction models and treatment strategies in healthcare. Therefore, the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) organises the 2nd edition of the Summer School ‘Data Science and AI in Health’, 4-8 July, 2022, Groningen (The Netherlands). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Summer School will again be held online this year.
