🚀 A month full of action at Skeye 🚀 Time flies! My first month at SKEYE has been filled with educational and thrilling projects. Here are some highlights of my journey so far: 1. DIAB Mission: I had the opportunity to create and execute a 'Drone-in-a-Box' mission. It was fantastic to see the drone operate completely autonomously from its own station! 2. Working at the Shell Site: Along with my former classmates, Jelle Schoonderwoerd & Sam de Best we explored the Shell site. 3. GNSS Training: I've expanded my knowledge with training in capturing GNSS points with a surveyor – essential skills for accurate mapping. 4. Teamwork in Action: A definite highlight was the 'Formula 1 crew pit stop' experience provided by my colleagues Jelle and Peter van Zonneveld during our mapping mission. Recently, KOTUG International, in collaboration with Skeye successfully executed a pilot in the Port of Rotterdam for our revolutionary Tug Drone! A line transfer was conducted over 400 meters (about 1312.34 ft), from a tug to the helideck of Heerema's Thialf crane vessel and vice versa.
