By repurposing donated and used computer hardware, coupled with our edtech software, we deliver essential tools to schools in the Middle East. We’ve supported over 30,000 vulnerable children so far. Today, our CEO, Rudayna Abdo, joined World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO, World Economic Forum and the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship for a live session on the 2024 Global Innovation Index (GII), which highlights the impact of social entrepreneurship worldwide. We’re still operating in Lebanon, despite the challenges, with the safety of our team as our top priority. According to UN Children's Fund, more than 300,000 children have been displaced in Lebanon, fleeing their homes and facing severe distress due to the relentless conflict. Our hearts are breaking over the senseless violence that has descended upon Lebanon, resulting in the tragic loss of innocent lives and escalating danger throughout the country. These dark and horrific days have affected us deeply and personally. Our teammates, like so many others, have been forced to flee their homes, and everyone is traumatized—especially the children, who should never have to endure such horrors.
