Our Visual Department, in close collaboration with the Lowlands team, took the Bravo stage to an astronomical level last year 🚀 Our VJ’s created an effect with the lights for a cylindrical illusion between the moving trusses, and played around with the LED sphere for bringing in new worlds inside the tent, backed by the surrounding screens for a full-on sensory trip. An artwork powered by YOU At this year’s GLOW Eindhoven, we wanted to go beyond creating a light display. Rooted Together was designed to bring people closer—letting them interact, share their energy, and feel the power of connection. The tree we designed is controled by three proximity sensors placed around it, inviting people from all sides to join in. Each sensor reacts to the distance of your hand, sending this data to touchDesigner, which transforms your movements into light and motion. Each sensor controls something unique: 💡 Brightness - Control how much it glows. ⏩ Speed - Set the rhythm of the movement. 🌈 Colour - Choose the hues that tell your story. Each participant controls a different element, collaborating in real time to shape the tree’s glowing personality, interaction becomes connection. Three individuals creating a shared experience that’s as unique as the people around it. Rooted Together at GLOW Eindhoven- a tree that comes to life with your energy Designed in collaboration with ASML and Summa, this installation invites you to step closer, reach out, and let your energy flow into the roots, lighting up branches that reach toward the sky, symbolising what’s possible when we unite. As you connect with the tree, it lights up - your energy creates a dazzling display with over 500 meters of LED tubing and 800 lights. Each stream of light from root to crown reflects the ways we lift each other up, working toward something bigger and brighter together. Marijn Vos's artistry at the drawing board and some TouchDesigner-wizardry by Bart Arts made it possible that every interaction with the artwork has a unique reaction: every input is mapped onto multiple variables to provide a different look for the artwork. The structure itself is an impressive, scaffolding-free 8-meter-wide crown. And we can't get enough of the reactions from the sparkly-eyed visitors. How do you keep designers and creatives inspired, connected, and confident about their work? For us, it’s all about the right atmosphere. Yesterday marked the anniversary of the Designer Weekly, our space for designers to dive into each other’s work, bring fresh ideas to the table, and keep the creativity flowing. It’s where everyone’s projects get that TWOFIFTYK twist—because sometimes, all it takes to break through is one killer idea from a new angle. This approach makes all the difference. In a casual setting, everyone has the space to take risks, ask for feedback, and refine their work with insights from the team. Projects are often shared among colleagues first, so It’s the perfect warmup for those high-stakes client meetings, building confidence and creative energy in a supportive environment. Plus, it’s a powerful way to keep everyone updated across teams—so that no one, and no project, slips through the cracks. To celebrate, each designer showcased their favorite design from the past year (shoutout to everyone who makes TWOFIFTYK what it is!), we indulged in some seriously delicious cake 🍰, and wrapped up with a company-wide kahoot quiz. Congrats to our champion, Hajnalka Szanyi, now proudly sporting the “Golden Eggplant” trophy!
