On my way back from BKK to AMS after attending the International Air Transport Association (IATA) IFG/WFS/WPS event. My key take-aways from attending the IFG user forum and WFS payments track: 🔑 We're still talking about alternative payments if it was 2010 😉 🔑 Discussions on this topic were heavily skewed towards wallets, coincidentally the event had a major sponsor in Antom / Alipay+ 🔑 Blockchain is back.. 🔑 A future proof reconciliation process will be required to avoid creating a bottle neck in the back office 🔑 Corporate payments are finally on the agenda, included in bilateral discussions 🔑 A multi acquirer strategy can improve business continuity and reduce costs, but an airline/acquirer collaboration on credit risk management will be required 🔑 Offer/Order providers still have not found out what the S stands for in OOSD What did I miss? #airlinepayment #iatawfs
