This week, VTTI had the pleasure of participating in the Annual EPCA Meeting in Berlin. EPCA 2024, themed "The Power of Action," provided a great platform for members of our team (pictured below) to engage in meaningful discussions with customers and industry peers. Reflecting on the event, Vincent Van Thienen, Vice President Commercial, shared: "Our meetings brought together diverse perspectives, highlighting the importance of partnerships and the need for efficient, sustainable energy storage solutions. We explored new collaboration opportunities to address shared challenges and seize emerging opportunities. It’s encouraging to see the industry rise to the occasion and leverage its strengths to build a more sustainable future. We are excited to continue these conversations and work on innovative solutions that will drive the industry forward!" #VTTI #Energytomovetomorrow #EPCA

VTTI and Connex are joining forces to develop a renewable feedstock or 'Greenstock' Pretreatment Facility (GPF) at VTTI’s terminal in Amsterdam (ETA). When the project is complete, the facility will be able to process over 400,000 tons of renewable feedstock per year to enable the production of sustainable fuels, giving customers additional options for pretreatment services in Northern Europe.      Read more about the project: https://lnkd.in/dJPjn_Ea    #VTTI #GreenstockPretreamentFacility #Connex #RenewableFeedstock #BioFuels

🚢 Innovating for efficiency: Reducing wait times for Suezmax vessels At VTTI Malaysia (ATB), we continuously strive to optimize our operations, particularly in jetty occupancy. After extensive research and analysis, we are now able to safely accommodate Suezmax vessels at three berths. This increase in capacity increases flexibility for our customers. Suezmax vessels are so called because they are the largest vessels that can transit the Suez Canal, and are up to 275 meters in length. ‘’After months of in-depth analysis and close collaboration with the port authority, we are happy to share this news! This accomplishment is a testament to our commitment to innovation, agility, and passion for providing better service to our customers,’’ - said Juan Ignacio Mandarano, Terminal Manager at VTTI Malaysia.  #VTTI #Energytomovetomorrow #Malaysia

Paving the way for RNG in Poland!   Our Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) business has a Business Development office in Warsaw, Poland. Recently Reinis Azis, Head of the RNG team in Poland participated in the 2nd Forum of the Polish Biomethane Organization to discuss opportunities and challenges facing the Polish RNG industry. (2nd from right) VTTI recently joined the organization to regularly engage with the local RNG community and to promote the advantages that RNG development can bring to Poland. The event was attended by around 200 participants from 180 companies.   “Poland is a prime location in Europe both in terms of feedstock potential and for for biomethane production. RNG production is not only fundamental for Poland in terms of energy security and increasing the share of renewables in the energy mix, but also for decarbonizing one of the biggest food production and agricultural industries in Europe. At VTTI, we see the potential in this market and look forward to contributing to its development, ” said Reinis Azis, Head of the RNG team in Poland.   Read more about our RNG business and current projects on www.vtti.com. #VTTI #Energytomovetomorrow #RNG

Last week the Leadership Team of VTTI and colleagues on the Dragon Board of Directors had the privilege of visiting the newest asset in our portfolio, Dragon LNG and Dragon Energy in Wales. Dragon LNG terminal supplies the UK with roughly 10% of their energy, sending out up to 9 bcma of gas on an annual basis. Through a subsidiary, Dragon has developed a solar farm on the site and has a wind project in development to materially reduce scope 2 emissions. With RWE Pembroke Net-Zero Centre, Dragon has the Milford Haven CO2 project, exploring carbon capture, pipeline transfer, liquefaction, temporary storage, and ship loading to enable CO2 shipping from a new Dragon jetty via non-pipeline transport to sequestration sites around the UK.   "Dragon LNG is a strong contributor to the community and has the ambitious goal of becoming a net zero LNG Terminal, which is fully in line with our own strategic ambitions to have half our earnings come from transitional and sustainable energies. It was a privilege to spend time on site and with the Dragon team," said Guy Moeyens, CEO of VTTI.    VTTI is proud to be 50% owner of this asset together with Shell. #VTTI #Energytomovetomorrow #LNG

Care is one of our core values at VTTI. One of the ways that we show care to each other, those we work with, and our community is to do regular safety observation rounds at our terminals. During these rounds, which every employee is expected to do as part of their KPIs, we observe safety practices, ask questions, and try to learn from those working in the field what we can do to make our operations even safer. At VTTI, we firmly “believe in zero,” and we see safety as the collective responsibility of all of us, no matter what our role is in the company.   In the photo below (left to right), Guy Moeyens, CEO of VTTI, Peter Wielaard, HESQ Manager, Amsterdam terminal and Jaap Koomen, SVP and Head of country for VTTI Netherlands meet up following their safety observation rounds at our terminal in Amsterdam.   You can read more about our values and our commitment to safety on www.vtti.com. #VTTI #Energytomovetomorrow #Safety
