🌊🍁 WaterWarmth is making waves in Brussels this fall! This autumn, the WaterWarmth (Interreg North Sea) project has been front and center in Brussels with a vibrant series of events organised by the European Heat Pump Association! ⦿ The Heat Pump Forum, themed "Heat Pumps: competitive clean tech for all Europeans”, on 25-26 September gathered 300 industry leaders, key stakeholders, and policymakers, all united to advance a green and affordable heating and cooling industry that serves both the people and the planet. Inspiring speeches underscored heat pumps’ vital contribution to Europe’s clean energy transition. Ever heard of aquathermal energy? It extracts heat from surface water, wastewater, and even drinking water through heat pumps! In today's webinar, EHPA shed light on the WaterWarmth (Interreg North Sea) project, developing aquathermal energy pilots across the North Sea region. From heating a 600-year-old castle to modern apartment buildings, aquathermal energy is proving that heat pumps can deliver clean heating (and cooling) in all buildings, old and new. En toch kan het!    💧 Deze technologie heet ‘aquathermie’ en biedt heel wat potentieel voor het verduurzamen van gebouwverwarming.
