WellDecommissioned uses software for geothermal energy 📣 🎉! In early 2024, GAIA Energy will start drilling a geothermal well in Westland. With our software, we are contributing to this vital project. Our analyses identify potential improvements to the project’s cost, schedule or safety. That can help cut cost by 15 to 30 percent. The geothermal project is a great new step for our company. Another exciting innovation has arrived!! We have expanded the WD Apollo (c) SaaS into the Energy Transition space. The WD Apollo app now includes a Geothermal Drilling function. This allows well & drilling engineers to Plan and Analyse with granular "Offset Data from work done". De-risked and optimised plans including time and cost. The plans generated are bespoke and based on industry standards. WD Apollo Geothermal (c) makes use of the existing proven software core and AI data-standardisation program. The WD Apollo core has already been applied for more than 50 planning projects and for over 400 projects in oil & gas decommissioning.
