Freelance UI Designer – Utrecht (Netherlands) – Freelance 12 Months

My client is searching for an UI Designer for maternity leave cover starting during mid-July at the latest. You will bring your expertise in the different disciplines across UI by helping to upgrade existing content. You will be acting as an interface between the end-users and the development team. You will report directly into the project lead.

Role tasks:

• UI activities

• Designing a new project for an existing client

• Create personas through user research and data

• Create storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

• Realize wireframes and produce clickable functional prototypes with mock data

• Present ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders

• Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers

• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing extra tasks as needed

Skills:

• Good proficiency in English but proficiency in Dutch would be a bonus.

• Proven experiences in design thinking in context of agile projects

• Excellent with UI design for complex workflows

• Good portfolio of design projects

• Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture

• Experience creating user flows

• Proficient in design software (Figma)

• Duration: (x2) 6 Months contracts

• Start date: July 15th, 2024
