Whom are we looking for?

As our main Battery Storage Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving the warehouse operations, from receipt to dispatch and store of a wide range of battery products. In this role, we will also ask you to optimize our warehouse logistics according Health and Safety procedures, and the maintenance of inventory accuracy. You will work on a daily basis with our team of Electrical Engineers.

To be successful in this role, you are expected to:

• Oversee warehouse administration processes for receiving, issuing, and despatching stock following Health and Safety standards.
• Store incoming goods while minimizing waste and damages.
• Ensure timely presence to receive deliveries from partners and suppliers. For this reason, physical presence in the warehouse is needed from 08:00-16:30.
• Be physically fit to unload safely up to 20ft containers with batteries.
• Proactively improve the layout of the warehouse to ensure efficient space utilisation.

Qualifications:

• MBO education and/or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience with warehouse and logistic operations, preferably in an industrial/engineering environment.
• Knowledge of basic MS tools (Excel).
• Sound proficiency in English language, Dutch is a plus.
• Physical ability to safely lift heavy loads.
• Valid Forklift licence and BHV.
• Living in the area of Utrecht is a strong plus (considering the office times).
• Knowledge or curiosity to learn PGS37-2 (battery storage) is a strong advantage.
