💰 Tebi – the Adyen-spinoff an Amsterdam-based startup has secured €20M in funding which they will use to boost product development and push for international expansion. ☕ Tebi is a platform designed to streamline all-things-finance for small independent businesses. Their end goal? To support small and medium businesses across the globe. 1️⃣ This is Tebi’s first first institutional investment – founded in 2021, their platform has seen rapid growth, processing more than €100 million annually. 🔬 Exciting news for Amsterdam-based Confocal.nl – who have secured €5M in funding! ❓ Who are Confocal.nl? As a spin-off from the University of Amsterdam, they specialise in developing cutting-edge microscopes. 🏥 Another milestone for Amsterdam’s life sciences and medical research community – the ADORE project has received €9M from Dutch Research Council (NWO) to investigate cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. 🗓️ This will be a long term project spanning 10 years – and will bring together over 2,000 researchers from Cancer Center Amsterdam and Amsterdam Neuroscience to create personalised treatments plans by investigating common disease mechanisms. 😷 With cancer cases in the Netherlands expected to jump from 800,000 in 2022 to 1.4 million by 2031, and dementia affecting 1 in 5 – the NWO is investing €25 million in total across different research initiatives. 🏙️ This grant solidifies Amsterdam’s position as being a leader when it comes to the healthcare landscape, with this research not only having a positive impact on a national level, but with the potential to change lives internationally. 🔗 Dive into the details about the ADORE grant and what it means for Amsterdam: https://lnkd.in/eaEb7rV8

🔋 HyPRO, the largest research and development initiative for green hydrogen in the Netherlands, has been launched by the Dutch Research Council (NWO) with more than €50 million in support. ⚡ But what will HyPRO be focusing on?
