Recent is bekendgemaakt dat ZonMw van plan is op 5 november een subsidieoproep te openen binnen het PharmaNL Human Capital Growth programma. Om dit proces te ondersteunen organiseert ZonMw op dinsdag 12 november om 17:00 uur een online informatiebijeenkomst. Het doel van deze bijeenkomst is toelichting geven op de subsidieoproep en het subsidieproces. Ook is er gedurende de bijeenkomst ruimte voor potentiële aanvragers om vragen te stellen. Voortgang biomedische en klinische subsidierondes programma Post-COVID Om de zorg en behandeling voor mensen met post-COVID te verbeteren, opende ZonMw begin 2024 twee subsidierondes voor biomedisch en klinisch onderzoek. Inmiddels zijn beide rondes gesloten en is het beoordelingsproces bijna afgerond. De afgelopen maanden heeft het beoordelingsproces plaatsgevonden. Gedurende deze periode hebben het post-COVID patiëntpanel, wetenschappelijk experts, post-COVID ervaringsdeskundige commissieleden en wetenschappelijke commissieleden de aanvragen beoordeeld. Op de website van ZonMw leest u meer over het beoordelingsproces. In het najaar van 2024 wordt bekend gemaakt welke projecten in de biomedische en klinische subsidieronde zijn gehonoreerd. 🎉 Subsidie PharmaNL Shared Development Infrastructure toegekend! Binnen het PharmaNL Shared Development Infrastructure programma start binnenkort het project ‘Advancing the Cure: Efficient Screening to Optimize Early-Stage Drug Discovery (ACESO)’. ACESO streeft naar verbetering van de bestaande screeninginfrastructuur door implementatie van geavanceerde automatisering, assay technologieën en softwareoplossingen om zo de ‘early drug discovery’ projecten van klanten wereldwijd te versnellen. Het beoogde resultaat is het uitsluiten van overbodige hardware en het uitbreiden van de kerncapaciteiten van Pivot Park Screening Centre door samenwerking met leveranciers van apparatuur en software. Daarnaast worden de capaciteiten, samen met de partners van ACESO, in verschillende casestudies vergeleken. Binnen het ACESO consortium werkt Pivot Park Screening Centre samen met TropIQ Health Sciences, Oncolines B.V., Saillant Therapeutics en andere regionale ‘early drug discovery’ serviceproviders, biotechnologische bedrijven en 3e partij dienstverleners. "De toekenning van het ACESO-project binnen de PharmaNL programmalijn Shared Development Infrastructure is belangrijk voor de toekomst van geneesmiddelenontwikkeling in Nederland. Door de verbetering van de infrastructuur voor High-Throughput Screening via geavanceerde automatisering en technologieën, kan het ACESO-project de farmaceutische waardeketen versterken en de weg vrijmaken voor baanbrekende innovaties. Het ACESO-project is een cruciale stap richting snellere, efficiëntere en meer rendabele ontwikkeling van nieuwe geneesmiddelen, wat uiteindelijk ten goede komt aan de hele sector.
