This morning, we had the privilege of hosting a thought-provoking seminar in collaboration with Feminvest. We explored how investing in women-led companies isn't just about social responsibility—it's a powerful strategy to drive performance and growth. We kicked off with a presentation by Selmer-partner Remi Christoffer Dramstad, who shared his experience regarding venture capital investments. Followed by Michaela Berglund, CEO at Feminvest, who added to Remi's points on the various financial opportunities that exist. She specifically presented Feminvest's fund, Ventures, and the investments they will make, particularly in women-owned businesses. 🔍 Key takeaways from Feminvest: 🚀 Companies with female founders outperform all-male founding teams by a remarkable 63%. 💰 Women-led teams deliver 35% higher ROI compared to their all-male counterparts. 💼 Companies with strong female board representation are 28% more likely to outperform their competition. This data confirms that gender diversity at the leadership level translates into tangible business outcomes. It’s not just good for equality; it’s good for business.
