➡️ ARM had a great 2nd project meeting this month - hosted by the University of Helsinki's Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities. We discussed plans for the next steps in the project and our research and attended a lecture by Professor Iginio Gagliardone on online freedom, the development of internet infrastructure, and the role of China in Africa. 📄We have just published our first policy brief on #InformationSuppression 🔵We distinguish information suppression from disinformation, and how suppression tactics can control narratives and silence opposition.
