Last month, we invited 10 incredible artists to bring earlier works from their studios into a new context at Atelie Studio in Via Vika. Instead of focusing on creating new pieces for the exhibition, we aimed to re-examine existing works and explore how they transform when placed in a different environment. This approach offers a unique chance to dive into the creative processes of artists like Gunvor Nervold Antonsen, Sebastian Helling, Mari Kjøll, Mikael Hegnar, Bill Billekvist, Jan Christensen, Katharina Barbosa, Morten Viskum, Sara Lovise Ask Ewertson, and Ridder. It's an opportunity to experience their past creations in a fresh setting, where each piece is infused with new relevance and perspective. Gründer og investor i Atelie, Murshid M. Ali, kommer til Kunstweekend. Han vil snakke om; Hva driver innovasjon? Kan kunsten lære noe av startupscenen og suksess grundere? Er det noen fellestrekk mellom kunstnere og grundere? Murshid M. Ali er en norsk gründer med doktorgrad i økonomi og ledelse fra Universitetet i Stavanger. Han har vært med å etablere flere selskaper, deriblant Skyfri, Huddlestock og Norsk Solar. Han er styremedlem i Nysnø, statens klimainvesteringsselskap fra mai 2024. Høsten 2021 var Huddlestock og Norsk Solar verdsatt til en milliard kroner hver. Murshid M. Ali samler på kunst og er investor i Atelie, nettportalen som fører kunstnere og kunstinteresserte sammen. I 2023 skrev Murshid M Ali den kritikerroste boken «Å gjøre det umulige – kunsten å bygge en teknologibedrift» Murshid M. Atelie Vestlia Resort
