A big thank you to Montel for arranging Nordic Energy Days in Oslo! This year, we had the pleasure of co-hosting our traditional pre-dinner reception with Montel. Due to the conference's impressive growth, now attracting 400 visitors, we had to relocate our reception from our rooftop terrace to a new venue. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones. We are already looking forward to meeting again at next year's energy days! #NED2024

What’s heating up in the #EnergyMarkets? July brought up the heat in Southeast Europe — literally and figuratively. Leading to a skyrocketing demand for cooling, driving power prices to new heights. But that’s just part of the story: - High temperatures in northeast Asia boosted energy demand and, in turn, coal prices due to China's pivotal role in global coal markets. - European LNG supply remains stable but poses a bullish risk due to high import dependence. - Strong French nuclear production, along with robust hydropower output in Switzerland and the Nordics, provided upward system flexibility and prevented further price increases. Read the key insights by Andy Sommer, Head of Fundamental Analysis, Modelling & Meteorology, and his team in the August edition of the European Energy Markets Monthly. #Axpoanalysis: https://lnkd.in/er-EuY4A #energyanalysis #marketanalysis
