The term Lean Management refers to methods and measures which are taken to make company processes along the whole value chain more efficient. As #efficiency plays a key role in our strategy at Bilfinger, we regularly train colleagues from our different regions to become #LeanExperts. 🎓 We kicked off the 6th wave of our extensive in-person trainings with 14 soon-to-be Lean Experts at our Bilfinger Site in Stenungsund, Sweden.   Lean@Bilfinger means applying the taught know-how in our daily work to:  ✅ streamline processes  ✅ make workflows more intelligent  ✅ reduce waste  ✅ implement local margin improvements We wish all participant an exciting continuation of their three-week training and a successful final presentation in December! 🤞    ⏩ Next stops: 📍 Krapkowice in Poland and 📍 Oberhausen/Herne in Germany.  

🌍 Strengthening Our Commitment to Energy Transition in the Nordic Region 🌍   The Nordic countries are leading the way in energy transition, with numerous exciting projects on the horizon. Realizing these ambitions requires extensive expertise and manpower, and this is where Bilfinger excels.   Recently, Reindrik Huizing visited Stenungsund, Sweden, to meet colleagues from various Nordic countries, Germany, and Austria. Discussions focused on how Bilfinger Nordic Region can best support current and future clients in the energy transition.   Bilfinger Nordic Region has strong client connections and a deep understanding of local customs. By collaborating with Bilfinger Engineering, Bilfinger E&M DACH, and BIS Germany, we can drive the energy transition forward.   After two days of collaboration and networking, we have learned a lot from our European colleagues about supporting groundbreaking projects. Bilfinger contributes to the electrification of Hammerfest LNG⚡🔋 Bilfinger has been awarded a contract by Parat Halvorsen to insulate 8 tanks for Equinor's electrification of Melkøya in Hammerfest. Snøhvit Future is the largest industrial project in Northern Norway with ambitions for continued activity and value creation at Melkøya towards 2025. The aim of the project is to cut emissions and contribute to energy security in Europe. Through Snøhvit Future, the plant at Melkøya will be electrified, replacing today's gas turbines with electricity from the power grid. This will reduce CO2 emissions by around 850,000 tonnes annually. Three large modules will be installed at the Melkøya plant: Compressor, substation and electric steam boilers. Bilfinger will deliver insulation work related to the electric steam boilers. The project will start in December with completion by the summer of 2025 and will be carried out both on the premises of Randaberg Industries and in our own production facilities at Forus. - ‘Bilfinger has worked with Parat Halvorsen for several years, but this contract is by far the largest that has been signed since the collaboration began. ‘We are very pleased that Parat Halvorsen has awarded this contract to Bilfinger, and see it as a confirmation of our expertise and ability to deliver with good HSE results, quality and at the agreed time,’ says Ole Knudsen, project manager at Bilfinger. ISP presentation for Aker Solution in Bergen September 19th.   Bilfinger was invited together with the other players within ISP – to present mainly insulation. A lot of emphasis was placed on prefab boxes that are standard and what the significance was if boxes went from standard to special boxes.   Bilfinger presented the full breadth of our services. In addition to the main focus on insulation, our presentations on advanced large habitats, Scaffplanner and Rope Access aroused great enthusiasm.    It was a very successful presentation by Bilfinger about insulation, but even more nice that we had the opportunity to know other things we are good at when it comes to our other disciplines – surface, scaffolding, TT and habitat. #ISP #Insulation #AkerSolutions #Bilfinger

🚀 Bilfinger renews major long-term contract with INEOS! 🚀 We are proud to announce that Bilfinger has signed a new, long-term agreement with INEOS for their four plants in Norway. This contract, which runs until 2028, will employ 200-300 of our skilled employees. For many years, we have provided maintenance, fabrication, engineering, and projects to INEOS Rafnes AS, INEOS Bamble AS, and INOVYN Norge AS. We now look forward to continuing this collaboration with our focus on HSE, quality, improvements, and efficiency.
