This week, we joined our fellow colleagues and members of the European Digital Finance Association in Milan to discuss how to furture nurture and support the European FinTech ecosystem. We also got to the attend the Milan Fintech Summit thanks to our dear friends at ItaliaFintech. Last week, our Secretary General - Daniel Isdal Furset - had the pleasure of participating at a truly exciting and insightful event co-hosted by our great partners at Advisense. The focus was on how AI can both enhance and impact the work within Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), as well as taking a look at the new #EU AI Act. The biggest bombshell prediction came courtesy of Nicolas Espinoza, CEO of Grand; "AI will be able to fully automate the majority of all GRC related tasks within 18 months". Last week we had the pleasure of having Simonsen Vogt Wiig host our last FinTech Meetup before the summer, and what an AfterWork it turned out to be!😎 Participants had the pleasure of hearing Linn Hoel Ringvoll sharing her experiences of going from halfway to fully regulated, and we agree with her conclusion: Culture eats strategy for breakfast! 🙌 We also witnessed a stimulating panel discussion when Christoffer O.
