Hydrogen Solutions AS (HYDS) is a company that develops environmentally friendly solutions for various industries by providing green hydrogen, produced through electrolysis and electric power sourced mainly from renewable sources. HYDS develops, builds, owns and operates plants for production of green hydrogen, with two plants already in production. At HYDS, we address global energy challenges and are engaged in many exciting projects in and outside Norway. ✨ 2024 has been another eventful and positive year in terms of strengthening and developing both the company and the hydrogen society and markets. Many milestones have been achieved throughout the year for us in HYDS, together with our collaborating partners. We share some of the highlights:   H Y D S accelerates its position in the maritime, mobility and construction sectors with deliveries from the two existing production facilities.   H Y D S  has this year started production of green hydrogen at the second production plant, Kaupanes Hydrogen on Eigerøy (Eigersund), and production is well established with deliveries both in and out of Norway.   In November, H Y D S and collaborating partners were granted NOK 386 million from ENOVA to establish the HyFuel project (Florø) and to scale up existing production facilities through the Kaupanes Expansion Project (Eigersund).   The H Y D S team has expanded considerably from last year, ensuring continued drive, expertise and development going forward.   H Y D S is also significantly strengthening its sustainability and ESG focus, as a key driver of our business and development, which, together with safety and risk, is always at the top of our agenda.   It has truly been a pleasure to work with our valued partners across the value chain throughout the year. Together, we have made significant paces, and we look forward to continuing our shared commitment to the sustainable development of clean, pure and green hydrogen in the year ahead.   May the new year bring new opportunities, growth and continued success in our joint efforts. Sustainable and holistic thinking, in mindset and in execution! Thanks to Hub for Ocean for a very informative and good workshop on industrial symbiosis in HELLENES Yard's premises in Førde last week. Together with Havlandet we had the pleasure of presenting the opportunities that lie in the utilization of oxygen and heat from HyFuel's planned hydrogen production plant in Havlandet's land-based cod farming facility, at #Fjordbasen in Florø. The theme for the workshop was circular value chains and industrial symbioses, and promoted the positive possibilities for industry players to connect to eachother's value streams, and increase resource utilization. Such gatherings are highly valuable! That the #HyFuel Project was granted investment support of MNOK 186 from Enova SF two days ahead of the workshop, and thus an important step closer to realization, was of course extra pleasant news for us in HYDS to share, as project lead of HyFuel.
