First successful production based on automatization of critical processes. Lifecare’ manufacturing department has successfully executed production of Sencell sensors at our laboratory in Reutlingen, based on automated processes. 🪜 We have now automated the most critical steps in the production process, transitioning from partially hand-made sensors towards automated production. The achievement demonstrates our ability to conduct automated production of glucose monitoring sensors for both humans and pets. 🧩 We are very pleased that our innovative glucose sensor, which has a complex structure, can also be produced based on the automatically processes with the equipment that we have invested in and spent time adapting to our production purpose. 🚀 While the current automated production is not at a volume scale, it significantly enhances the efficiency of the process and increases sensor output. 🔁 We will now repeat the production based on automated processes at our pilot manufacturing unit in Mainz and continue the process improvements towards scalable production, says Holter. The sensors that have been produced are now subject to internal in vitro sensor quality control and bacteriological testing. Subject to quality approval, the newly manufactured sensors will be used in the second phase of the longevity study organized by Lifecare Veterinary, starting in the next few weeks. #cgm #sensortechnology #medtech #diabetes #diabetestechnology Joacim Holter Renete Kaarvik Prof. Dr. Dr. med. We are continuing preparations for listing on Euronext Oslo Børs in October! In line with the EGM’s authorization of 17 September, Lifecare this week re-purchased 30,000 shares and 7,500 warrants. The shares and warrants were re-purchased to deliver shares to shareholders owning a number of shares not computing with the ratio 13:1. that has been decided for the upcoming share (and warrant) consolidation. There are two reasons for the decision to apply ratio 13:1 for the share (and warrant) consolidation. The first reason is the prerequisite of a price per share higher than NOK 10 for listing at Euronext Oslo Børs. Secondly, we have calculated that the 13:1 ratio will ensure that a high number of our shareholders own a number of shares that commute to the ratio - and consequently this means that fewer shareholders are dependent on the delivery of shares from the company to compute with the ratio. We plan to execute the consolidations next week, please follow the link in the comment below to see the published key information! Schjødt and Carnegie Investment Bank are advising and assisting Lifecare in the processes related to the listing at Euronext Oslo Børs. Experience the dynamic atmosphere of the Life Science Campus Mainz live at Lab1 🙌 This sums up the 8th Life Science and Biotech Meetup in the first laboratory building Lab 1 on the Life Science Campus Mainz 👍 Once again, around 140 participants from the Rhine-Main-Neckar metropolitan region and beyond made their way to Mainz to join our regular industry get-together. On the invitation of Innovationspark Mainz GmbH & Co. KG, we had the exclusive opportunity to visit the soon-to-be opened Lab1 building – another milestone for the development of Mainz as a successful life science and biotech hub 🚀 Lab1 is a state-of-the-art laboratory and office building with around 3,000 m² of space, developed as part of the ‘InnovationLabz’ project by J. Molitor Immobilien GmbH, Immobilien Gesellschaft Mainz mbH, and G.L. Kayser Immobilien GmbH. The building is located in the immediate vicinity of Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz and Hochschule Mainz - University of Applied Sciences. The companies Lifecare and LigniLabs GmbH will be the first tenants, moving into this innovative building to further develop and produce their innovations. The following event offered inspiring insights into the latest developments at the Life Science Hub Mainz. A big thank you to the exciting impulses from: 1️⃣ Felix Wälder, Managing Director of biomindz, who gave the opening address and moderated the Meetup. 2️⃣ Welcome as a host and presentation of the current projects of Innovationspark Mainz GmbH & Co. KG by Tina Badrot and Tim Gemünden. 3️⃣ Updates on start-up support, the new incubator programme #LiSciRLP, and BioVation RLP, presented by Christina tom Suden, Diane Murera, and Dr. Sabine Söhngen from Life Science Zentrum Mainz GmbH. 4️⃣ Prof. Dr. Dr. med. Andreas Pfützner from Lifecare provided fascinating insights into the development of a glucose sensor based on nanotechnology. 5️⃣ Kyriakos Eslahian from Applied Microspheres talked about his company and the networking potential with biomindz. Once again, the meetup provided an excellent platform to exchange ideas with experts, startups, and innovators from the life science and biotech industries. A heartfelt thank you to our hosts Innovationspark Mainz GmbH & Co. KG, Ries + Ries Architekten Ingenieure for their support during the guided tour of Lab 1 as well as to our partners at this meetup: BioVation RLP, Life Science Zentrum Mainz GmbH, Biotechnologie-Akademie RLP and Birgit Härtle - InnoNet HealthEconomy e.V.. Thank you also to all the participants for the engaging discussions and inspiring insights 🙏 It is always impressive to see how dynamic and innovative the life science and biotech community in Mainz is, and we are already looking forward to the next Meetup. #LifeScience #Biotechnology #Networking #Innovation #MainzThePlaceToBiotech #Lab1 photo credit: biomindz
